Network integration and solution specialist Integr8 IT has proven to be a valuable asset for international telecommunication solution provider Orion Telecom. According to the company`s national IT manager Gregg Scaife, Integr8 IT has performed where most others have failed.
Scaife is particularly impressed with Integr8 IT`s level of proficiency and expertise with regard to Microsoft`s range of products. Scaife selected an ISA solution for the company`s WAN, one that was ADS aware and fitted perfectly into the 2000/Citrix environment. The solution was IP-based and, because of the terminal server/Citrix environment, the company experienced few problems from a reporting point of view. Due to lack of support on the part of the vendor, the company struggled for some time and almost gave up on the product until it was referred to Integr8 IT.
"Without Integr8 IT`s involvement I don`t think we would have been able to get this product working due to the complexities of our WAN. As a Microsoft customer, its reassuring to know that there are still few companies, like Integr8 IT, that are able to provide outstanding support for Microsoft products. I would like to say that one of our biggest problems is finding reputable companies to install Microsoft products and to provide support thereafter," says Scaife.
The latest recommendation rounds off a particularly good year for Integr8 IT in terms of its relationship with business partner Microsoft. As Microsoft Gold Certified Partner within the enterprise system arena, the company was nominated as Microsoft Gold Certified Partner of the year and was selected as Microsoft`s Mid-Market Infrastructure Integrator of the Year for 2002.
Integr8 IT was the only Cape-based Microsoft Gold Partner within the enterprise solution arena to attend Microsoft Fusion 2002 in Los Angeles. At the event, the South African-based network integrator was identified as one of the few regional enterprise solution companies to broaden its focus and concentrate its efforts on providing robust, stable solutions for clients.
