National network integration and infrastructure management specialist Integr8 IT has entered into a long-term service and partner agreement with Traversio, a locally-based international provider of software to the events and tourism industries. According to the deal, Integr8 IT will provide infrastructure support and services to back up Traversio`s software solutions delivery to clients.
The deal strengthens Integr8 IT`s foothold in the global tourism market and also reinforces Traversio`s overall offering to its clients.
Traversio is comprised of three key tourism divisions, namely Traversio technologies (servicing tourism bodies), Touristico (Web and interactive), and INKOVU (business tourism and events technology).
Traversio has been instrumental in facilitating the collaboration of tourism information between industry associations and promoting the enhancement of Web-based technology in tourism sectors. It has also made rapid headway in the business tourism / events industry, recently highlighted by its successful provision of technology to the recent World Petroleum Congress.
Integr8 IT has established a strong services agreement with Traversio according to which it will support the networks of Traversio`s clients, all of which require stable, reliable infrastructure and support in order to effectively run systems.
The synergy of the relationship was demonstrated through Integr8 IT`s recent contract to upgrade services for the Johannesburg Tourism Company, Johannesburg Convention Bureau, and Soweto Tourism Information Centre - which utilise Traversio software.
