Integr8 IT, HP South Africa's latest preferred partner

Johannesburg, 24 May 2007

Integr8 IT, South Africa's largest privately BEE-owned national information technology network integration and infrastructure management specialist, has been nominated as a preferred partner within HP's Preferred Partner Programme.

The local ICT infrastructure service provider has fulfilled all baseline criteria governing membership to the programme, including minimum revenue, portfolio sales training, self-profile of the business and a minimum of one sales - or one technical - certification.

As one of only 141 HP preferred partners (out of 6 800 resellers) Integr8 IT is eligible to receive a number of benefits that will help it to meet customer needs.

These benefits include access to special bid pricing and preferential bid-desk support, access to the HP brand and the global company's co-marketing programme, advanced access to Smart Portal, the HP partner intranet, featuring the latest sales and marketing resources as well as HP product, services and solutions update.

"Our inclusion in HP's Partner Programme substantially increases our credibility as a knowledge house for the latest in technology skills sets," says Robert Sussman, joint-MD of Integr8 IT. "As a direct result of this development, we are in a position to add value to our expanding client base with advantages such as interaction with fully certified HP Certified Professionals; specialised technical advice and ongoing support and after-sales service."

The HP Preferred Partner Programme also offers all partners comprehensive knowledge and training on its product/technology roadmaps.

"HP continually introduces roadmaps going forward on all product ranges," says Vileshen Moodley, Partner Business Manager, HP South Africa. "As far as global training is concerned, the HP Certification portal is made available, for training, exams and to assist with planning student certification roadmaps. The portal also boasts many more offerings for students wishing to learn more about the HP offering."

"Integr8 IT will fundamentally add to HP's overall PP (Preferred Partner) base as a VAR (value-added reseller). It is currently recognised as an HP Preferred Partner and will be able to leverage of HP's PPP offerings which will be extended to their clientele by their sales force," Moodley adds. "Our go-to-market strategy is via a trained and certified partner organisation. HP needs to ultimately ensure that customer satisfaction is consistently achieved."
