Network integration specialist Integr8 IT has officially made its mark in Los Angeles. Director Robert Sussman recently returned from a successful trip to the Microsoft Fusion 2002 convention where he met up with Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer and Rosa Garcia, General Manager of Microsoft Certified Partner Program.
Integr8 IT was the only Cape-based Microsoft Gold Partner within the enterprise solution arena to attend Microsoft Fusion 2002, held recently in Los Angeles.
The software giant places a great deal of emphasis on its partners and the South African-based network integrator was identified as one of the few regional enterprise solution companies to broaden its focus and concentrate its efforts on providing robust, stable solutions for clients.
According to Garcia, Integr8 IT has demonstrated superior levels of successful implementations, capabilities and certification.
"Integr8 IT has reached the status of Gold Certified Partner for Gold Track by demonstrating increased levels of developer certification, deep real-world experience, and by providing completed customer reference projects that were independently verified by Microsoft," says Garcia.

Sussman says the event was a huge networking opportunity, but more than that, it served as a definite signal that the company`s approach to partnerships and customised solutions-based selling is working.
"It was interesting to note the many suggestions and the general IT trend that was identified at the event. Local companies have to move away from being product-focused and transactional. The emphasis must be on providing the right solution to the client - taking into consideration business requirements and individual company characteristics. Integr8 IT has always provided tailor-made solutions that are not product-specific. At the end of the day, people are not really all that concerned about vendor-specific products - the market wants robust, reliable, stable technology - they want solutions that are what they imply - a way of enhancing and positively influencing a situation. Sussman also suggests that partnerships and the subsequent development of the company`s skills base remain key differentiating factors.
