National network integration and infrastructure management specialist Integr8 IT has partnered with goWireless, a provider of GSM/WiFi-based mobile business solutions, to launch an `out-of-the-box` Blackberry bundled productivity solution on the Microsoft platform.
The package combines the goWireless BES (Blackberry Enterprise Server) offering with Integr8 IT`s Microsoft SBS (Small Business Server) offering incorporating end-to-end services (implementation, support, training and proactive managed services).
Integr8 IT has been selected as the official architecture and integration partner on the Microsoft platform in this venture due to its keen understanding of the technology and infrastructure within the exchange server environment, especially in terms of its Microsoft Gold proven expertise and infrastructure services.
According to Zulfiq Isaacs, MD of goWireless, the partnership combines mobile integration and system integration with the emphasis on educating the market about Blackberry and its potential benefits for businesses.
"Blackberry is only one of our mobile solution services. Our intention is to create awareness around the differential qualities of Blackberry in comparison to existing or traditional mobile devices like i-Mate. One of these qualities is the opportunity to leverage off so-called `push-technology` which automates the process of data retrieval and dissemination, so one needn`t keep hitting the `send and receive` button to check for e-mail, for instance. Others include fixed fees and unlimited data transfer for e-mail," he says.
