Carrol Boyes Functional Art, an established local designer of hand-crafted metal sculpture, has turned to its IT partner and network integration specialist Integr8 IT to facilitate immediate inter-branch global connectivity and communication with its new operation in New York.
The Cape-based artwork company recently celebrated the opening of its newest branch and is ready to extend its international presence and trading capability thanks largely to the network services and support provided by South African-based Integr8 IT.
An ongoing service level agreement between the two companies has ensured the provision of four dedicated channels for storing applications as well as both local and international Internet access. In addition, Integr8 IT placed Carrol Boyes Functional Art on its MPLS VPN, allowing for VOIP readiness.
"With the interface of an access point node to the GSM network, the client will be full prepared for the de-regulation of VOIP and allow for connectivity to the office in New York," says Robert Sussman, joint-MD at Integr8 IT.
"We also provided additional support to the client`s accounting partner BS3 and the underlying architecture allows for a stable, robust platform. This has led to a new level of support for Carrol Boyes Functional Art based on guaranteed turnaround time, dependence on IT systems for uptime and global connectivity," adds Sussman.
