Netcare 911, a premier integrated provider of emergency medical services, has selected Integr8 IT as its outsourced IT partner of choice, effectively making the company its IT department in order to secure immediate support and mission-critical ICT services.
Integr8 IT has provided support for Netcare 911 on an ad hoc basis over a period of two years and eight months. In this time, the national network integrator and infrastructure management specialist has impressed with its level of service and knowledge.
"Our experience with Integr8 IT made us confident in developing the relationship further. We decided the best option would be to make it a permanent arrangement," explains Netcare 911 IT manager Charles Bresler.
Integr8 IT has put in place several service level agreements to provide proactive support and services for Netcare 911`s two vital areas of business, namely its 24/7 call centre operation and its back-office.
"Netcare 911 is an emergency services company. There is no doubting the fact that a reliable infrastructure is business-critical - ultimately people`s lives might depend on these communication systems. As the preferred IT partner for Netcare 911, Integr8 IT has been a proactive part of the company`s ICT infrastructure strategy, part of which is an upgrade to manage the company`s entire ICT environment," explains Jan Roux, Integr8 IT technical director.
"We have built up a solid foundation of knowledge and experience with regard to the medical and healthcare environment. Netcare 911 are aware of this and decided to extend our services based largely on the role we played in the successful roll-out of the Pivotal CRM solution to enhance the company`s digital nervous system call centre just over two years ago," adds Roux.
Says Bresler: "We have a diverse infrastructure with systems specific to our requirements. Integr8 IT has made people available and skilled them up in certain areas to support the infrastructure. There is currently a permanent team of Integr8 IT personnel on site to take care of any support issues. This works well because any issues are addressed immediately."
Roux adds that another the key factors in this ongoing project has been reaction time and general response.
"From the beginning we have been mindful of the fact that these systems are fundamentally important to Netcare 911 and its core business. It was necessary to implement redundant measures such as real-time monitoring and early warning systems to ensure that we could control and manage any issues that could arise," explains Roux.
