Local IT solution integration and network infrastructure management specialist Integr8 IT has been selected as a finalist in two categories in the annual African ICT Achievers Awards, described as the ICT industry`s own `Oscar` awards.
Integr8 IT, with headquarters in Johannesburg and offices in Cape Town and Durban, as well as national and international presence, gained a firm footing in the competition last year after it became the only company on the continent to be represented as a finalist in three categories at the awards, organised through ForgeAhead in conjunction with the Department of Communications.
The local network integrator has been nominated in two categories, namely Top Private CIO and ICT Workplace Provider.
The Top ICT Workplace Provider award recognises a company that, through its employee-centric nature, has created a loyal employee base and demonstrates the prestige nature of being a part of the company.
Robert Sussman, joint-Managing Director of Integr8 IT, has also clinched the finalist position for Top Private Sector CIO.
This award honours candidates that have implemented creative solutions to enhance service delivery within their company, encouraging the efficient usage of technology tools within the company, contribution to policies and regulations that influence the ICT sector, building capacity within their company and for outstanding managerial and/or technical skills.
