National network integration specialists Integr8 IT has become the only company in South Africa to be awarded `Insider` status with Computer Associates (CA) Africa.
As a recognised `Insider` and premier reseller, Integr8 IT has established a strong alliance with CA in the service of current clients and the quest for new ones.
According to regional account manager at CA Africa, Dion Gerrans, the `Insider` program originated in Europe and is based on the recognition of key resellers identified for their success in selling, implementation and service with regard to CA`s range of products. `Insiders` are then used to perform pre-sales demonstrations to potential clients because of their ability to offer total solutions and ongoing support should the deal be successful. This is preferential to Computer Associates proposing a solution only to have the dealer initiate the sales cycle once again and fulfil obligations made by another party.
In essence, the program creates a close bond between CA and the reseller and ties them both into the customer.
Gerrans says that the company`s products enjoy widespread use among local companies, especially within security and storage markets. "CA is entrenched in the local market. Most people are unaware of this. Our products are in use in most companies especially our storage and security offerings. We are currently experiencing phenomenal growth in the Africa market and this trend is expected to continue."
Integr8 IT`s network integration and support skills, as well as its proven track record in sales and service levels, has elevated it above competition and helped it navigate a route into CA.
