Intel infusion to guide BearingPoint
Australia-based management and technology consultancy BearingPoint has hired five members of the former Intel solution services team, including former regional director Barrie Williams, says Australia IT News.
They will focus on working with major enterprises and government organisations to improve sustainability and transform technology infrastructure.
Williams will lead the technology infrastructure group, which will work with clients to incorporate green regulatory requirements and introduce emerging technologies and processes to that end.
Creative science school gets AV
The International School of Creative Science in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) is set to unveil more powerful and livelier performances with the latest in audio-visual technology for its multipurpose hall, marking the first deployment of Installation Line Array from QSC in the UAE, reports Albawaba.
QSC's Installation Line Array offers the WL2082-i speakers and the subwoofer WL115-sw which serves as the bass module.
These loudspeakers and subwoofer are lined up in an array, making it compact and attractive, and, at the same time, it can handle a far broader range of performance venues.
CompView hires VP
CompView Medical, a US-based manufacturer of audio-visual equipment for use in operating rooms, has hired Steve Heniges as vice-president of sales and marketing, reports NW Innovation.
CompView said Heniges will work to expand the company's sales channels, while overseeing its launch and promotion of new and existing surgical solutions.
Prior to joining CompView, the company noted, Heniges served as senior vice-president of global marketing and clinical development for Viking Systems.
