Intel is set to become more competitive in the networking arena with the announcement of price reductions on several items in its Express range of products. According to Craig Brunsden, Intel franchise manager at local distributor Axiz, the pricing is effective immediately.
"We have seen significant price reductions on selected Intel routers, hubs and switches," he says. "Resellers will find the prices of these products reduced by amounts ranging from R500 to over R5000, depending on the product."
"Resellers should contact us for details on the new pricing and for more product information," says Graeme Frielick, networking product manager at Axiz. "These price reductions will see the Intel networking products being positioned very competitively in the SA market."
