Intelleca, VoiceGenie to host GenieSummit Africa contact centre automation conference in Sandton

Johannesburg, 28 Mar 2006

Intelleca and VoiceGenie Technologies are hosting the GenieSummit Africa Conference at the InterContinental Sandton Sun & Towers on 20 April.

GenieSummit Africa, a forum designed to share the latest developments in next-generation speech and telephony self-service technologies, is a condensed one-day conference based on the highly successful GenieSummit conference held at Niagara Falls in 2005 and Montreal in 2006.

GenieSummit is dedicated to providing attendees with a comprehensive and valuable exchange of ideas, applications and experiences regarding the implementation of VoiceXML interactive voice response (IVR) and speech solutions in global organisations and telco environments.

"We are inviting industry leaders and users to share insights into their latest developments and deployed solutions," says Michael Renzon, CEO of Intelleca.

"GenieSummit will provide delegates with the information they need to maximise their self-service investment and help their organisations realise speech-enabled customer service excellence."

The conference includes:

* A look at the impact of VoiceXML and speech technology on self-service automation, with reference to both local and international case studies.
* A discussion on voice services and media servers in next-generation networks.
* A South African case study on the implementation of VoiceXML and speech services in the banking environment, and a second one on a similar implementation in the telco arena; a presentation on the importance of the performance and quality of voice services platforms.
* How to implement speech in a VoiceXML environment.
* An introduction to VoiceGenie 7.

The target audience for GenieSummit Africa includes CIOs, CTOs, telco executives, contact centre executives, contact centre managers, senior technical managers, technical decision makers, contact centre systems architects, IVR product managers, and senior IVR developers who are either operating a VoiceXML and speech environment, or plan to migrate to a VoiceXML and speech environment.

Registration starts at 7:30am on 20 April, and the conference begins at 8:00am. GenieSummit Africa is limited to 100 delegates. For more information on GenieSummit Africa visit http://www.intelleca.co.za/intellecaweb/companyfs01.htm and click on the GenieSummit Africa logo.
