Intel SA has announced that its worldwide Intel Channel Conferences (ICCs) for resellers and system integrators (SIs) will take place from October through December.
The ICC events encompass a series of training and networking opportunities as well as third-party vendor showcases. It is expected to reach 20 000 channel programme members across Europe, Middle East and Africa, and 60 000 worldwide before the end of the year.
Stressing Intel`s channel commitment, Calum Chisholm, regional channel manager, says the featured events "offer Intel`s channel members the tools and resources to deliver [competitive] Intel-based solutions in an increasingly competitive market".
Targeted at owners, managers and technical personnel from Intel product integrators and Intel premier providers, the ICC will provide information on the current state of the industry as well as Intel`s roadmaps, strategies and technologies for the desktop, server, mobile and networking markets.
The conferences will also aim to help channel members to expand their mobile business opportunities. "Attendees will have access to seminars on wireless sales training and workshops designed to help resellers and SIs develop secure solutions based on Centrino technology."
