Inter-Active Technologies appoints new directors

New directors have been appointed by Inter-Active Technologies, South Africa's leading call centre and communications expert.

Johannesburg, 28 Sep 2010

Leading call centre and communications expert, Inter-Active Technologies, has announced the appointment of Vanessa Chambers as the company's new Human Resources Director, as well as Gerald Terblanche as the new Operations Director.

“Both Chambers and Terblanche bring the experience and stability that is required in a highly competitive and dynamic industry. Inter-Active Technologies applies the highest standards for its employees, and Chambers was given the position of HR director because she takes into consideration the needs and interests of all employees in the company,” explains Inter-Active Technologies Managing Director Jacqui van Staaden.

“Terblanche's vast experience in the customer care industry is extremely valuable to us as an organisation, and we are confident that his insight and knowledge will be of great benefit to us; with the anticipated regeneration of the country's economy, we believe that both Chambers and Terblanche will take us to bigger and better things in 2010/11,” Van Staaden adds.

When asked about his new role and plans at Inter-Active Technologies, Terblanche explained:

Fundamentally, my goal here is a simple one: to ensure that we enable our clients to deliver a better customer experience to their customers. We have a diverse, solid portfolio of offerings, which can be tailored and combined to achieve this goal; and by always keeping the customer experience in mind and understanding our clients' key business drivers, I believe that we are in a unique position to unlock additional value for our clients. We want to be working with our clients and playing our part in their strategy, not only as a supplier, but as an advisor - and this will be a major focus for my team.”

Chambers' extensive knowledge and experience in recruitment, training, people management and integration makes her a valuable asset to the rapidly expanding Inter-Active Technologies brand. Chambers concludes: “It is important to me that everyone is able to have the opportunities for personal development and success, and our standing in the industry is testimony to that principle. There is a tremendous amount still to be done, and I am privileged to head a team of young achievers.
