Inter-Active Technologies management strengthened by key appointment

Inter-Active Technologies, South Africa's leading call centre and communications expert, has appointed Rosemarie Pringle-Smith as General Manager Sales.

Leading call centre and communications expert, Inter-Active Technologies, has announced the appointment of Rosemarie Pringle-Smith as the company's General Manager Sales for national and international business.

Pringle-Smith, who holds an MBA, joined the Inter-Active Technologies team in November 2010, and brings with her a wealth of knowledge, having previously served as senior vice-president for global partnerships at a leading mobile banking and payments specialist company.

Inter-Active Technologies managing director Jacqui van Staaden is confident in Pringle-Smith's understanding of all aspects of business operations: “Having successfully implemented new businesses from scratch, and interfaced internationally with large blue-chip corporates worldwide as well as in Africa, Rosemarie will help ensure that Inter-Active Technologies improves its customer service experience. “In addition Inter-Active Technologies will be increasing its footprint into Africa, as well as to diversifying its business interests into the mobile banking sector. Rosemarie's extensive expertise will ensure that we achieve this goal.

Pringle-Smith adds that Inter-Active Technologies' strong reputation in providing unrivalled customer service is what drew her to the company. “I am excited about the prospects of utilising my expertise in the global IT and customer relationship management arena, in order to grow Inter-Active Technologies' customer base and markets, which will enable the company to expand its footprint while our clients benefit from best-in-class service and technology,” she explains.

Pringle-Smith, who has also presented a number of white papers, and given presentations at international conferences such as Asia World Mobile and Prepaid Mobile Africa, says her main priorities for 2011 will be expanding into external markets, as well as introducing foreign clients to South African call centre capabilities.

Looking at the year ahead, Van Staaden highlights three main goals for Inter-Active Technologies; expansion into Africa, diversifying business interests to ensure that the company remains competitive in an ever-changing market, and expansion of its Cape Town operation. “We are fortunate that Rosemarie brings the necessary skills and experience with her to assist Inter-Active Technologies in moving towards these goals,” she concludes.
