The sixth annual Inter-Active Technologies year-end customer function was held in the trendy Melrose Arch, at The Venue. This year saw a new first, with potential clients joining our list of invitees, together with our existing clients, therefore we decided to go even bigger and better than last year, and really highlight all the different services that our company has to offer.
We exhibited our core capabilities with a very successful live overflow call centre demonstration at the function. Volunteering guests were handed cellphones in order to make calls through to our call centre based in Roodepoort, with the live overflow calls being routed to our agent seated on stage at The Venue.
Volunteers who participated in our live demonstration each walked away with iPod nano's and the winner of our lucky draw received that latest iPad.
Furthermore, we had a networking session and exhibition showcasing our services and products, thus allowing existing customers to learn more about additional services and products that we offer, and for potential clients to get an understanding of the Inter-Active Technologies offerings.
Another highlight was our guest speaker, former Springbok coach, Jake White, who led South Africa to the 2007 Rugby World Cup victory. Charismatic and a brilliant speaker, he proved to be very popular and entertained all who attended the highly anticipated event. Each guest received a personally autographed edition of White's autobiography - 'In Black and White'.
The 2010 event was a great success and we look forward to planning the 2011 one!
