Interactive Intelligence Inc, a global developer of business communications software, was named by Network World magazine as one of the top 200 North American public network companies in 2005 based on revenue.
Interactive Intelligence was ranked 172nd among the top 200 companies, with revenue of $62.9 million in 2005, up 14% from revenue of $55.1 million in 2004. This is the third consecutive year the company has been included in the Network World 200, and marks continued progress for Interactive Intelligence, with an improved ranking compared to 188th place last year.
"This year`s ranking underlines our ongoing growth based on improved sales performance, with our largest gains coming form North America and Europe," said Interactive Intelligence president and CEO, Dr Donald E Brown. "It also highlights our further penetration in the large-sized contact centre market, and solid demand across all our product lines, particularly for our standards-based IP telephony software. With revenue for the first quarter of 2006 up 23% from Q105, and a net income increase from $25 000 in Q105 to $1 million in Q106, we`re well-positioned as a strong, growing leader of IP-based business communications software solutions."
Notable achievements for Interactive Intelligence in this year`s Network World 200 included its ranking as the leading vendor among its top three largest competitors based on compound annual growth rate from 2001 to 2005.
This year`s 12th annual Network World 200, which includes vendors from the computing, network infrastructure, software and telecommunications sectors, was published in Network World`s 24 April issue, and can be accessed at http://www.networkworld.com/nw200/2006/index.html.
