Interactive Intelligence to host "Moving Your Contact Centre to the Cloud" industry Web event

Interactive Intelligence Group, a global provider of software and services designed to improve the customer experience, is hosting a no-cost Web event: "A Practical Guide for Moving Your Contact Centre to the Cloud", to be held Thursday, 14 November, at 11:30am Eastern time (EST).

Already attracting more than 1 000 registrants, this 75-minute Webcast goes beyond theory and cursory basics, giving practical, actionable advice from industry experts about how to plan, select, and deploy a cloud contact centre solution. The Web event is ideal for contact centre leaders seeking best-practice guidance for migrating their communications technologies to the cloud.

Industry expert presenters include Drew Kraus, research vice-president for Gartner; Donna Fluss, founder and president of DMG Consulting; and Joe Staples, chief marketing officer for Interactive Intelligence. Using real-world examples, these presenters will demonstrate the three stages of cloud migration: pre-planning, vendor selection, and implementation. Within each stage, presenters will provide best practices for security validation, cultural considerations, cut-over planning, data migration, and ongoing administration. An extensive live online Q&A will follow the presentations.

"Industry experts forecast cloud contact centre growth figures 10 times that of premises-based solutions," Staples said. "In particular, the cloud model has shown that it can have a profound impact on improving the customer experience. As a result, it's timely to offer contact centre leaders concrete advice from seasoned analysts and consultants to help them smoothly and cost-effectively transition to the cloud."
