interBiz Bureau Services offered by Norway`s Active ISP

interBiz, the eBusiness applications division of Computer Associates International, Inc. (CA), announced at CA World in New Orleans, that Active ISP, a leading Norwegian provider, will offer Masterpiece/Net to its customers via the Internet.

Active ISP will host Masterpiece/Net through interBureau, a product that enables application service providers to host interBiz business applications for their customers. Active ISP chose browser- based Masterpiece/Net as its financial management offering for the system`s scalability and robust functionality.

Active ISP`s small- to medium-sized enterprise customers will be able to use this advanced enterprise financial management solution while reducing , upgrade, consulting and education costs. "Our goal is to expand our Web offering to our growing client base," says Espen Haakonson, vice president of product development for Active ISP.

"While investigating the possibility of offering business-critical solutions to our customers, we were highly impressed by a demonstration of Masterpiece/Net. interBiz offers a system and strategy which are ideally suited to the growing number of companies wishing to use Internet functionality as part of their company infrastructure."

Active ISP will use interBureau, one of the three outsourcing models offered by CA`s interBiz Online Group, to host Masterpiece/Net for its customers. interBiz Online enables companies of all types to outsource business IT functions and access interBiz`s business applications-Financial, Banking and Supply Chain - through flexible outsourcing relationships. In addition to interBureau, interBiz Online Group will offer two other models of hosting/outsourcing relationships: iBizDirect and iBizPartner.
