Intermedia brings MS to Blackberry

Intermedia, a provider of -as-a- solutions in the field of messaging, has rolled out Microsoft Office Communications Server 2007 for BlackBerry smartphones, says TMCnet.

The Microsoft Office Communications Server 2007 for the BlackBerry platform is an instant messaging and presence solution that facilitates business users to securely engage in instant message conversations from their BlackBerry smartphones to remote colleagues.

According to Intermedia, users can better connect mobile and remote employees for increased collaboration and productivity.

EOn releases MS-based solution

EOn Communications is set to resell the Quanta Syspine version of the Microsoft Response Point system as eOn Office Solutions, states TMCnet.

The system, which targets smaller businesses, comes preloaded with Microsoft Response Point software on the Syspine IP PBX.

Response Point systems offer speech recognition (voice-activated dialling), a customisable receptionist, voice mail archive and retrieval through e-mail and call forwarding to an external phone such as a cellphone.

GlobalSign upgrades solution

GlobalSign has released the second version of its on-demand platform for distributing digital certificates, entitled the GlobalSign Certificate Centre (GCC), reports The Whir.

The GCC's new capabilities help it to provide a single platform for managing applications, and renewal for digital certificates.

GlobalSign's range of digital certificate products includes SSL certificates, for securing networks and Web sites, DocumentSign, for digitally signing and approving Adobe PDF documents and PersonalSign Digital IDs for digitally signing and encrypting e-mails and documents.
