Commencing in November this year and running over the festive season, Xerox Channels Group (XCG) and Internet Africa are co-operating to create an Internet starter kit comprising four months Internet access, a US Robotics modem as well as discount vouchers and free software.
According to Charlene Beukes, Marketing Manager - Internet Africa/24.com, the bundle is aimed specifically at the SOHO and SME markets and will available from retail outlets for approximately R649. "We will be giving away Symantec`s FaxPro software valued at R500 and four months Internet Africa access valued at R396."
"Discount vouchers for Xerox printers and multifunction devices, as well as an Internet camera from Logitec will also form part of the bundle," she says.
Angie Samuel, marketing manager at XCG SA, believes the special offer represents an excellent value proposition for SOHO and SME users. "We`re looking at discount vouchers on an entry-level inkjet printer, a 12ppm personal laser and our latest, laser technology-based multifunction device (MFD)," she says.
With this bundle Xerox is offering its DocuPrint C8 colour inkjet printer for R629, a discount of R250 on its 12ppm desktop laser printer and the brand new Xerox DocuPrint C385 five-in-one (printing, copying, scanning, faxing and PC faxing) MFD for only R5699.
Along with contributing the modems to this bundle, Workgroup Distribution has added a discount voucher for the Logitec Internet camera. "The Internet camera enables video clips to be recorded and sent to friends and family overseas by e-mail, " says Shawn Bezhuidenhout, product manager at Workgroup Distribution.
The bundle will be available for the duration of the festive season from retail outlets such as Game, Makro, Dion, etc. Watch the press for further details.
