Internet grouping boosted

Internet-based recruitment service CareerJunction has joined the recently launched Online Publishers` Association (OPA).

The OPA was formed to improve the profitability of its members, partly by adopting a standardised Web site traffic measurement system.

The credibility of Web site measurement figures, which are important especially to the advertising and marketing industry, came into question last year.

The OPA is in the process of seeking a vendor to supply it with a metrics and analytics infrastructure to be implemented across all its members` Web sites.

CareerJunction offers recruitment companies e-recruitment solutions with its clients being agencies which either provide candidates to employers or provide an e-recruitment service to employers through an agency reseller distribution channel.

The OPA`s members include 365 digital, Ananzi, BDFM, iafrica.com, IOL, ITWeb, Johnnic Publishing, Mail & Guardian Online, eMedia24, Moneymax, Moneyweb, MSN SA, M-Web, Ramsay Son & Parker, SuperSport and Tiscali WorldOnline.
