Internet Security Systems (ISS), a leading global provider of information protection solutions for the Internet, has confirmed the appointment of Connectivity Dynamics (Condyn) as its distributor for the Sub-Saharan Africa region.
Condyn, one of the premier e-Infrastructure products and services providers in South Africa to the medium and medium-large market has been a specialist in the fields of network and desktop as well as Information security infrastructure since 1995. Condyn, which has previously kept a fairly low profile in the industry whilst delivering superior products and services to its customers, has recently positioned itself to include the Distribution of selective Information Security products to carefully selected Resellers.
"We have been working closely with ISS during the past few months to arrive at a business model, which we think will be conducive to resellers in future. An extremely good relationship has been forged with ISS, which was founded on our previous Network ICE relationships." says Jorina van Rensburg, Condyn`s Chief Executive Officer. Condyn was the sole Distributor in South Africa for the Network ICE product range, an Internet security provider that was acquired by ISS last year.

Condyn`s business model for ISS is one of pure distribution, and not a mix of distribution and reselling, which has been problematic for a number of international vendors in the South African market in the past.
