Internet Solutions (IS), a leading converged communications services provider, has appointed Dharmesh Rama as its new financial executive.
Rama joins IS from Anglo American plc Group. He has extensive experience as financial director/compliance officer at Coronation Equities (now Vunani Securities).
An honours graduate of Unisa and a CA, his responsibilities include overseeing all financial functions for the company and adding value to IS from a financial perspective. Rama will take a place on the IS executive committee immediately.
"We are delighted to welcome Dharmesh on board," says IS CEO Angus MacRobert. "He brings extensive experience with him in the important area of compliance, as well as broad-ranging financial management skills. He will play a strategic role in our planned growth."
Rama takes over the position from CFO Dean Suchard, who is moving to a new business role within IS.
