The P.E.A.C.E. Foundation was established in 1993 as a trust, and, subsequently, as an NPO, dedicated to the eradication of rural poverty.
With an office in Johannesburg and a base at the University of Natal, and with linkages into other tertiary institutions, the foundation works with government, the private sector and local community-based structures to implement integrated, sustainable local economic development programmes in previously disadvantaged communities.
