Internet Solutions selects Oracle Fusion Incentive Compensation

Uses compensation plans strategically to align sales activities with business objectives.

News facts

Internet Solutions (IS), a leading African Internet protocol-based service provider, has selected Oracle Fusion Incentive Compensation to align sales activities with business objectives and to use compensation plans more strategically.

The Oracle solution will reduce the administrative burden carried by IS' compensation, IT and sales teams, allowing them to focus on delivering strategic projects. Administrative resources allocated to calculate and manage commission payments will be able to focus on other departmental functions.

Another key benefit is the improved accuracy and auditability of compensation calculations, and the ability to access accruals, targets and payments at any time, from any location, on any mobile device.

IS selected Oracle Fusion Incentive Compensation as it fits the company's architectural landscape and compared favourably with competing products. IS will use the implementation of Fusion Incentive Compensation to gain experience in migrating its other existing Oracle services onto the Fusion platform.

Fusion Incentive Compensation will be used to manage compensation plans for both local IS sales teams within South Africa, as well as sales teams operating within the IS International regions.

IS is working together with the Oracle Collaborative Engagement Programme (CEP) team on the project. Oracle partner Xpedia is providing assistance with project management and implementation services.

* "Oracle Fusion Incentive Compensation will provide IS with the ability to easily implement compensation plans that are aligned to business objectives, together with the flexibility to adapt plans at any time. By adopting the software as a service model, we anticipate a short period to service consumption and a lower total cost of ownership," says Leslie Cameron, Business Support Systems Manager, Internet Solutions.

* "We are excited to have Internet Solutions as one of the first Fusion SaaS Incentive Compensation customers in the Middle East and Africa (MEA) region. We believe this solution will enable IS to meet their commissions requirements, in addition to providing their sales force with more real-time updates, thus improving the motivation and morale, leading to better sales execution," says Anand Subramanian H, Fusion Applications Leader for Oracle MEA.
