InterSystems Corporation, the world`s fastest growing database company, and SA`s RedScreen World Holdings have announced a strategic partnership that will see RedScreen use InterSystems` CACH'E post-relational database as the persistence engine for its Virtual Enterprise Platform (VEP) product.
RedScreen`s VEP is a platform for establishing central intelligence capabilities within the enterprise. RedScreen`s Enterprise Master Entity Index is an example of a vertical market enterprise solution built with the VEP. Leveraging CACH'E`s ultra-fast, post-relational technology for persisting and manipulating complex data structures, the Master Entity Index delivers timely and accurate matching of healthcare provider and patient information from disparate systems in real-time. The system also provides for enterprise healthcare benchmarking enabling improvements in productivity, enhancing patient care and generating considerable cost savings.

The agreement was concluded during a recent visit by RedScreen to InterSystems` headquarters in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
