Intervate, a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner, has been awarded the Microsoft Partner Award in the information worker competency category for the third year running. The awards were presented at the Microsoft Partner Awards, held in Durban in August.
“This award acknowledges Intervate's continued leadership in designing and delivering enterprise content management (ECM) solutions,” says Migal van As, Chairman of Intervate. “Even in this imperfect economic climate, Intervate continues to gain new customers and retain existing ones by providing ways in which to maximise the value clients derive from their investment in the Microsoft platform.”
Over the past 12 months, the company has delivered ECM solutions to over 40 organisations. Some of its customers include high-value brands such as Standard Bank, Old Mutual, Media 24, Montecasino, Clicks Group, Bombela Concessions Company, Gauteng Economic Development Agency and Murray & Roberts.
Such deployments have involved the implementation of various aspects of ECM within the Microsoft information worker competency.
Key growth areas have been in the fields of enterprise search, Web content management and document imaging and capture.
“The assessment criteria for the Partner Awards encompass customer acquisition and satisfaction, business growth and performance, enabling people, and innovation,” says Albie Bester, Business Group Lead - Information Worker at Microsoft SA. “Intervate continues to deliver work of a high standard, making them a valuable partner in the Information Worker space.” Intervate is the first partner within South Africa to win the Microsoft Information Worker Partner of the Year award for three consecutive years.
Van As says Intervate's focus on market-aligned solutions has enabled the company to maintain its competitive edge in difficult times. “Harsh economic climates necessitate prudent financial and operational decisions resulting in customers seeking out cost-effective solutions that can reduce costs and improve productivity,” he concludes.
