Introstat`s award-winning Web site, www.introstat.co.za, has had a facelift. The new retro look homepage has been designed to give both business and retail customers a more traditional "shopfront" purchasing experience. The e-shop offers a complete range of IT products at wholesale prices, from leading manufacturers such as HP, Lexmark, Fujitsu Siemens, Microsoft, Logitech, Verbatim, Canon and Epson, to name a few. There are in excess of 2 300 products listed on the site so there is certainly no shortage of variety.
The site also features a "new products" section, a "subscribe to monthly newsletter" and the printer configurator. This online tool is really handy when choosing the correct printer for your needs. A new 086 call centre number has been listed on the home page to give a more human touch to the e-shop.
"We have upgraded our product page content and specifications, particularly on our hardware products," says Piers Proctor, National Sales Manager. "It is important for us to give the customer as close to a touch and feel experience, to give them enough confidence to buy technology online."
One of the biggest concerns expressed by consumers when purchasing goods on the Internet, is the safety of their credit card details. Introstat.co.za alleviates these concerns by offering a comprehensive range of payment options through the M-Web "Safeshop" portal. In addition to being the most secure Internet payment gateway, you can choose from a number of banking solutions namely IcanOnline, Auto Pay, EFT, Visa and MasterCard.
On the business front, the new Printing Solutions page gives you a complete overview of the division`s product offering including the SASFIN rental rate calculator. This business tool enables you to calculate monthly rental rates on capital equipment.
The Services page lists all printer maintenance services offered by the company including the ability to book a service online.
There have also been some excellent refinements to the corporate account profile with the introduction of a report writer that enables companies to run real-time sell-out reports on products purchased. This is particularly handy around budget time when you need to project consumption figures.
The biggest benefit of this Web site lies in the fact that it is owned and managed by an established bricks and mortar company. "We run our e-shop exactly the same way as we run our business," says Piers. "The only real difference is that we employ technology as our sales people! Once a product is purchased off the site, it is integrated into our efficient back office and national distribution infrastructure."
"Great customer service and innovation are the only things that will retain and grow e-commerce business in the future," according to Charl de Jager, e-commerce administrator. "We have to offer a better buying experience than a traditional retailer. I believe Introstat is the first company to do this. Give us a try and see for yourself!"
