Invu signs with Bell Micro

Invu has signed an exclusive contract with Bell Micro and Bell Micro will become its distributor for the ICT channel in Netherlands, says Hemscott.

The company intends to expand distribution to Bell Micro's in other European countries at a later stage.

Country manager for Bell Micro Huib Klaassens said: 'This collaboration with Invu marks a new step in the process of expanding our portfolio by offering our resellers solutions for document archiving and workflow management.'

Oracle increases distributors

Oracle has enlisted 26 distributors and more than 250 new resellers for the value-added distributor Remarketer programme it inaugurated six months ago in an effort to expand sales of its database and middleware products to SME customers, reports ChannelWeb.

The software giant also said its "1-Click Ordering" system, launched at the same time as the VAD initiative, is succeeding in providing distributors and value-added resellers with a simplified product ordering process.

Altogether about 1 000 orders with an average value of $5 000 have gone through the system since it launched, said Judson Althoff, VP of global platform and distribution sales and head of Oracle's technology channel programme office.

Netspace gives resellers confidence

Netspace has introduced a new partner programme for SME ISP resellers. The programme provides the ISP reseller channel with a much needed "confidence boost", and a compelling proposition and additional edge when competing against larger telco players, says CRN Australia.

Ben Dunscombe, regulatory affairs manager, Netspace, told CRN Netscape has detected a crisis in confidence, especially among SME ISP resellers, as a result of the flux and uncertainty being experienced in the mid-tier telecommunications sector where competitive tussle and market forces are eroding reseller confidence.

The SME ISP reseller programme provides channel partners with support and resources backed by the BusinessOne product suite and full service account management, ensuring they are equipped to deal with the competitive and uneven telecommunications playing field.
