IOMart, CommsWorld collaborate on converged cloud
Two major IT and telecoms companies, one operating in cloud and Web hosting services and the other operating in the unified communications field, have announced they are going to start collaborated and converged services of voice, data, cloud hosting and Web hosting services to their customers, Great Responder reports.
Both companies are very well known in their respective domains of business in Scotland. It was announced that IOMart will provide its backend platform for Web hosting and cloud hosting services for all telecommunications services provided by CommsWorld Company. These services include VOIP, mobile connectivity, messaging services and Internet connectivity for their customers in the field of telecommunications.
IOMart Group's data centres will provide the cloud and managed hosting platforms to support CommsWorld's entire range of data and telecommunications products and services, TopHosts.com writes.
As a result, businesses and organisations will be able to better integrate their voice and data communications systems and enjoy improved stability and security. CommsWorld customers will also get connectivity to one of the fastest data centre networks in the UK.
