Iomega aims to strength its SME presence through the signing of a deal with First Distribution.
resellers and value-added resellers (VARs) in SA.
Cizar Abu Ghazaleh, regional director for the Middle East, Africa and Turkey at Iomega, said the company is focusing on the SME channel as part of a wider strategy to support the market as well as the SME business-to-business distribution structure.
He added that First Distribution was chosen because of its strength and reach in different channel segments, whether it be system integrators, resellers or corporate resellers.
Iomega is an EMC company and will also be partnering with Phoenix Software for distribution into the consumer and retail segments of the market.
