IP address/DNS/DHCP configuration nightmares solved

Johannesburg, 24 Nov 2008

Active Directory management has been given a boost with the introduction of an add-on toolset to administer and manage IP address/DNS/DHCP configuration dilemmas causing errors and distress.

Men & Mice announced the introduction of an add-on product to solve Active Directory problems; 70% of such problems can be ascribed to misconfigured DNS. The company developed its renowned IP address management add-on to Microsoft Active Directory. The add-on provides policy-based management of DNS/DHCP and IP addresses using existing Microsoft DNS and DHCP servers.

Jon Adalsteinsson, Men & Mice co-founder, VP of Business Development and VIP guest of Computek, will present his views on IP address/DNS/DHCP configuration to the Active Directory user community in South Africa during the annual Active Directory Strategy Group (ADSG) sessions, hosted by Computek, a Microsoft Gold Partner and Active Directory specialist.

The ADSG was established to create a forum where Active Directory experts can exchange common practices, methods and techniques in addition to discussing collective technical issues. Each session focuses on a relevant and significant topic in the Active Directory discipline.
