IRT Projects - Molex goes to the Cape

Johannesburg, 24 Apr 2009

IRT Projects, a premier distributor for Molex Premise Networks, has finally opened its branch in Cape Town. This branch will be headed by Daryl Agulhas, who has a wealth of experience in the structured cabling environment, and is also well known in the Western Cape market.

"After careful consideration and numerous requests from our customers, we finally decided to open the Cape Town branch. We always strive to give our customers the best possible service, and by opening in the Cape we are showing our commitment to serving the Structured Cabling & Data Centre Industry,” says MD, Jerry Stevens.

IRT Projects became a premier distributor for Molex Premise Networks (MPN) in 2006. They are the only black-owned distributor with a level 2 (125%) BBBEE rating. IRT Projects has been involved in some major structured cabling projects such as FNB/Wesbank Fairlands, SARS Megawatt Park, SITA projects, etc. IRT has shown and proven their capabilities by supplying and delivering on projects big and small. IRT has become a supplier of choice for many installers in the industry.

"With our head office in Kya Sands, Randburg and our new branch in Parow, Cape Town, we intend being more aggressive in promoting Molex Premise Networks (MPN) to the Structured Cabling & Data Centre Industry. We have visited the MOLEX head office, in Chicago, last month and we saw some innovative products that will soon hit our country. Molex Premise Networks (MPN) is definitely a global market leader, and we are very excited to launch these products soon,” says FD, Rodwill van Wyk.
