Microsoft Gold Certified partner, IS Partners, was named as the winner of this year's Data Management Solutions Competency and Business Intelligence Solutions Competency awards at the annual Microsoft Partner Summit, which took place during August.
The Microsoft Partner Programme Awards recognise partners that have excelled in delivering Microsoft solutions over the past fiscal year. “It is an opportunity for partners to celebrate achievements that have had a positive impact on the market,” says Caron Mooney, director of IS Partners.
Award winners were selected on their dedicated use of Microsoft technologies to provide solutions that meet customers' needs.
At the Awards ceremony, Mteto Nyati, managing director of Microsoft SA, highlighted partner achievements and the high standards of award entries, saying that partners are delivering unmatched innovation and value to customers.
The Business Intelligence Solutions Competency Award acknowledges partners who have consistently delivered customer satisfaction and leading-edge BI and performance management solutions.
“Over the past year, IS Partners completed more than 40 large BI deployments and grew their customer base by 80%. They have displaced competitors at seven major businesses, and their ability to acquire customers and provide solutions is second to none,” says Nyati.
“IS Partners demonstrated constant innovation on SQL Server 2008, by effectively utilising and growing their data management competency. Their innovative solutions set this partner apart in this award category.”
Mooney adds that positive customer experiences with Microsoft technology play a key part in the award selection process. “Customer references and case studies are always a measure of implementation success; our customers deserve thanks for their support.
“It is also an honour to be commended by Microsoft for innovation and efforts in our core solution areas. The awards recognise the capability, infrastructure, methodology and operations that are in place to consistently deliver solutions that are on time and within budget, while offering best business value to customers,” Mooney says.
