Internet Solutions Mozambique has, for the fourth consecutive year, walked away with the Diamond Arrow award for being the best Internet service provider in the business category, in Mozambique. The results are based on a three month survey conducted by PMR.Africa between December 2013 and February 2014 and covered all the major industry sectors in Mozambique.
The rating criteria for candidates of this prestigious award included the levels of innovation displayed, implementation of corporate governance, managerial expertise, and what the company has done to enhance economic growth and development of the country. The survey respondents included a random national sample of 140 participants which included CEOs, MDs, businesses owners, company directors, managers and senior government officials.
The respondents for this survey were required to nominate a company within a specific business sector mentioned by PMR.africa researchers and then rate them against a set of criteria. There were no prompts to mention or rate any specific company during this process and no institutions were able to proactively enter the awards.
Based on this year's survey results, IS Mozambique received the highest overall rating of 4.35 out of a possible 5.00 under the category, Internet service providers in the business sector. "We are very proud to have been recognised by PMR.Africa for the fourth year in a row, this recognition goes to show the hard work and commitment from our team," says Hermann Woithe, CEO of IS Mozambique.
