ISACA South Africa, along with its Gold Sponsors: SekelaXabiso and SizweNtsalubaGobodo, is proud to present its 2013 Conference on 26 and 27 August at Emperors Palace, Johannesburg.
In 2012, the ISACA SA Conference grew to record attendance with approximately 400 delegates. High profile local and international speakers provided delegates with insight into the latest developments in the IT industry.
The 2013 conference theme is IT Innovation: The shifting focus of IT Governance, Risk, Security and Audit, and will include several international speakers, as well as high profile local speakers. The conference will be followed by two post-conference workshops covering advanced information security and audit and control of mobile technology.
ISACA's line-up of international guest speakers include the following:
* Alexander Polyakov: "What CISOs should know about SAP security" and "Implementing SAP security in five steps: case study"
* Barry Lewis: "BYOD Considerations and Consequences" and "Using the new COBIT Assessment Model"
* John Tannahill: "Database Security and Audit" and "Windows 2012 Server Security and Audit"
* Mark Toomey: "Behaviour vs Process - the underpinning power of ISO 38500" and "Digital Leadership and Governance of IT"
* Rams'es Gallego: "The Perfect Storm: Threats and Risks in the Cloud" and "Privileged Account Management: who's touching my data?"
The conference is an ideal opportunity to catch up on the latest global and local thinking in the key areas of governance, risk, security and audit. Included in the proceedings, after the first day's session, Monday 26 August, is a cocktail evening for all registered attendees, which provides time for the attendees and speakers to continue the discussions and network with colleagues.
