An independent panel of judges, all of whom are respected IT journalists, has voted in favour of AccTech Systems ACCPAC Workflow product being displayed in the "Best of What`s New" pavilion at Computer Faire Gauteng 2002.
"In a recent study done by an American Business Publication, Trade Show Week, the largest single growth segment in the $100 billion exhibition industry comes from the computer and technology field," says Tertius Zitzke, Managing Director at AccTech Systems (ATS) Pty Ltd.
"The annual Gauteng Computer Faire is an excellent opportunity for local companies to boast their newest range of locally developed products, in a medium that brings business back to the way business was meant to be conducted... face-to-face, one-on-one. Our AccTech ACCPAC Workflow system is an excellent example," says Zitzke.
"The solution was originally developed as a custom solution for one of our African clients, and Computer Faire now gives us the opportunity to showcase this product to local companies, wishing to install an affordable workflow system that integrates seamlessly with the new ACCPAC for windows range of products," he adds. "The fact that our Workflow system has been rated so highly by these journalists, adds fuel to our burning expectations we have for the success of our workflow product, regarding the South African market," says Zitzke.
"AccTech ACCPAC Workflow is a Web-based, business rules, financial process management tool, which routes work, requests and approved financial documents from one activity to the next according to pre-defined business rules," says Morn'e Swanepoel, Director of Services at AccTech Systems.
"It automatically distributes work between available users, and monitors and tracks value addition according to business requirements. Reports on exceptions and communication with clients are run through e-mail or any Web browser technology, where required. Before the design of the AccTech Workflow Software, we carried out an in-depth analysis on other workflow products in the market for general workflow functionality and integration possibilities," says Swanepoel.
"It has been successfully installed at clients in Zimbabwe and Zambia in industry sectors ranging form tobacco farming, to copper mining. The scalability and adaptability of the product means that it can be applied to virtually any industry sector thinkable," says Swanepoel.
We will be running live demonstrations on AccTech ACCPAC Workflow each day on an hourly basis. Prospective clients can come and view the astonishing speed and accuracy which promises to make this product a sure hit at this year`s Computer Faire, adding another product to the range of goods currently being branded as "Proudly South African".
