IT Wise today announced a Comprehensive Service Plan (CSP) for thin client products that can be specifically tailored to individual customer requirements and is purchased annually during a products standard warranty period.
This service not only covers IT Wise-supplied thin client products, but can be extended to embrace other vendor equipment.
"With this CSP, customers can now buy peace of mind; increase their productivity and uptime; save on expensive internal support personnel and external support expenses; and increase their return on investment," commented Ernie Boardman, Managing Director of IT Wise. "The CSP covers supplier software and operating system support and update services, technical device support and a swap-out warranty facility that sees replacement unit(s) shipped within 24 hours."
Thin client products deliver better productivity at a lower cost than traditional methods, without compromising security or manageability. The use of thin client products makes it easier for IT departments to manage user desktops by moving their complexity to the data centre.
This approach improves the reliability and security of information, dramatically lowers IT costs, reduces energy consumption, and is far better from an environmental perspective. Nevertheless, they still provide the access to applications and data that are required to move the business forward; while improving on the security, reliability and availability of PCs.
