We are pleased to announce that It4Africa South Africa has recently purchased Despec Africa FZE, a supplies focused wholesaler, out of the Despec Group.
It4Africa is the leading distributor of HP, FSC, HP calculators, Cisco Systems, Microsoft, Linksys, Toshiba, Linux, Oracle, EMC, APC, Unitek and Epson products into the Pan African region.
This acquisition will increase and strengthen It4Africa`s product portfolio, positioning the company as a one-stop IT distributor for all English speaking African countries.
Fadi Nasr, GM of It4Africa says: "This acquisition will make It4Africa, who is part of the Interdist Group, currently the largest wholesaler of HP products in Africa, one of the few wholesalers with the complete HP product line-up/shopping basket on top of the other leading brands we represent. Adding the consumables and EA Games to our current product line-up for our Pan African partners, will be of great value."
Despec Africa FZE, is registered in Jebel Ali, Dubai with a branch office in Johannesburg that includes a focused consumables team. The company will be fully incorporated into It4Africa by 1 April 2006.
Toni Ward will continue to head up the consumables division along with Lindsay Blackie as regional sales manager and Jan Hendrik Schepers as product manager. Address details and contact numbers will remain the same.
