Itec's C200 brings affordable, quality colour to the SME

Johannesburg, 26 May 2009

Itec's C200 A3-multifunctional makes the production of convincing colour documents possible for small and medium-size businesses at a cost they can afford. Customers who buy the device and enter into a service level agreement with Itec will receive one year's worth of free colour printing.

Holger Groenert, Manager Product Marketing - Itec Distribution, says the promotion enables smaller companies, which often have those tight budgets, to reduce costs while still benefiting from colour.

“In South Africa, the use of colour is still quite limited, while overseas it's almost a given,” says Groenert. “We want to put top-quality colour documents within reach of the SME sector in this country and the C200 is the best way to do that.”

The compact, easy-to-use machine boasts excellent colour image quality and reaches copy and print speeds of 20 pages per minute in both black-and-white and colour.

It also allows you to lower your total cost of ownership (TCO) by getting rid of your black and white copier, colour printer, scanner and fax, and replacing them with one efficient machine capable of taking on the work of all those devices. The C200's Internet and IP address fax features also helps reduce communication costs, while the device's energy efficiency lowers utility costs.

With polymerised Simitri HD Toner, the C200 promises exceptional image quality. Simitri HD Toner is resistant to wear and tear thanks to its high fade resistance, matching that of professional printing ink. This makes documents suitable for long-term storage.

The C200 accommodates thick paper up to 256g/m2 in all of its trays. And, it accommodates a wide range of paper sizes, from A3 to A6, as well as envelopes and labels.
