Technology Concepts today announced its simple, yet powerful, Internet Server, iView. Through detailed reports, companies have the ability to cost-effectively manage and monitor their Internet access, browsing and e-mail usage on a real-time basis.
iView is targeted at small to medium-sized enterprises that wish to make use of all of the advantages that the Internet has to offer. However, they would like to avoid the management and administrative complexities that so often accompany corporate Internet access, as well as being able to limit abuse of such a capability, since this is the greatest cost an organisation permanently linked to the Internet has to bear.
iView is a multidimensional Internet server that seamlessly integrates the functions of mail, proxy and management servers into a single solution. Administrative and management functions can be performed from anywhere in the world through a standard Web browser. Detailed visibility of browsing activity and e-mail communication eliminates significant abuse within the organisation.
Additionally, iView provides the system administrator with a simple interface that requires little or no technical skills to manage, thus reducing support costs; provides significant flexibility with respect to reporting and the provision of usage statistics; includes a forwarding facility that includes an "out of office" response to incoming e-mails; and through the use of a proxy/cache facility enables increased browsing speeds. Although targeted at the small to medium size organisation, iView includes many features required by larger companies, including the ability to manage multiple organisations, multiple domains, unlimited user accounts, aliasing of addressees, and the forwarding of e-mail.

In line with the "simplicity" message mentioned above, the pricing structure is in a similar vein with only two pricing levels: ie R6 999 (excl VAT) for up to 25 users and R9 995 (excl VAT) for >25 users.
