Software company, Ixchange`s US subsidiary, FrontRange Solutions (formerly GoldMine Software) has entered an exclusive strategic alliance with Sales.com, an Internet service portal for sales professionals and sales teams.
Ixchange says the alliance strengthens its own position in the sales force automation and customer relationship management market, given the 60% shareholding in Sales.com of enterprise customer relationship management company Siebel Systems.
The alliance will provide small organisations and work groups with a suite of Web-enabled sales applications integrating Sales.com data with FrontRange`s Windows-based GoldMine 5.0 sales force automation software.
FrontRange and Sales.com will focus the solution on companies with one to 25 sales professionals.
The integrated application will offer an array of Web-enabled resources such as account and contact information, a library and targeted leads, combined with access to the sales force automation tool.
FrontRange`s GoldMine sales force automation software will be configured for integration of basic account, contact, calendar and activities data so a GoldMine 5.0 user can synchronise information to a Web-based application and have direct access to Sales.com sales-specific content and productivity Internet services.
A fully integrated solution is expected to be available by the end of the year.
