Micromuse Inc, a provider of ultra-scalable, real-time business and service assurance software, has announced that NTT Communications Corporation has chosen the Netcool suite of products to provide a strategic infrastructure backbone to support service availability, quality and automation of its new and innovative AGILIT service.
Headquartered in Tokyo, Japan, NTT Communications recently launched AGILIT to provide advanced hosting applications service for large corporations.

Netcool software, which is currently in use at several groups within the NTT Communications Corporation, was selected by the AGILIT service team to provide consolidated operations management, event correlation, data analysis and data presentation for AGILIT`s services. The Netcool solutions allow network operators to consolidate all network, systems and applications event data into a single view on one screen to enable the fast identification and prioritisation of service-affecting problems on the infrastructure.
NTT Communications Corporation implemented the Netcool Dashboards solution to accurately monitor the availability and performance of host systems and the applications running over them. NTT Communications Corporation also deployed Micromuse`s Netcool/Precision application for accurate network topology and connectivity information. The complete Netcool solution provides a real-time, end-to-end view of the service-delivery infrastructure and a true, clear picture of the root cause of the problem to enable the efficient use of operational resources in support of service uptime and quality.
