JetForm`s Boundless possibilities

Johannesburg, 12 Jun 2000

Previous high results and cost savings as a customer are the two biggest reasons that Boundless Information Systems` MD, Jaco Claassens, specifically asked Global Technology (GBI) for permission in April this year to resell the JetForm application as part of his company`s comprehensive business solution product.

"I was previously a SAP project manager and was working against a very tight budget, on a very tight timescale," explains Claassens. "We had whole lot of documents and formats to develop, and when I looked at the costs of printing in-house documents against the cost of implementing JetForm there was no argument, as JetForm`s outlay was repaid within one year on the printing savings alone.

"This in turn enabled me to hit my targets on the project, which helped me personally and also allowed us to remain within the set project parameters," Claassens continues. "So when we started our company, Boundless Information Systems, it was natural that we would take on the product."

JetForm is a Canadian originated electronic forms and workflow tool, distributed in South Africa by GBI. Boundless Information Systems provides solutions specialising in SAP integration with lower level systems, particularly in the oil and energy industry.

"JetForm is about the only specific product we offer clients as part of our broader solution offering," says Claassens. "We can do this with confidence as it is one of the products from which we can talk with direct experience, having used it as a customer ourselves."

To become a JetForm reseller, "Boundless had to meet stringent standards," says Dave Grant, product manager for JetForm at GBI. "We will only give such rights to competent capable organisations that can enhance the brand with their skill-levels," Grant says.

"We are assured that Boundless understands well the potential of the product and of its benefits to customers. Their access to a number of very large ERP customers also represents, from the GBI point of view, the potential of introducing JetForm to a new range of large blue chip clients."
