QuadroIT took initiative last year and hosted SteemSaturday, in Johannesburg. In keeping with the spirit of the Steemit platform, QuadroIT aimed to break ground, and did so by inviting Ned Scott to be the keynote speaker.
Around 100 blockchain enthusiasts and experts, crypto fundis and Steemians joined QuadroIT on 9 September at 7:30am at the Indaba Hotel, in Johannesburg, for a morning of mind-blowing talks, exchange of ideas around blockchain, crypto currencies and decentralisation of information. The talks were followed by a sponsored slap-up lunch and networking drinks.
A year on, and Jaco Rossouw of QuadroIT, with 21 years' worth of IT expertise behind his name, still claims this was one of the most informative networking opportunities to date. And if last year was anything to go by, SteemSaturday 2017 is going to be bigger and better.
Mitchell Loureiro, the Steemit marketing maven, is flying out from Europe to address guests at the event, as keynote speaker. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to hear Loureiro in Johannesburg. Loureiro will be at the sponsored lunch, together with Lorien Gamaroff, crypto advisor to The Reserve Bank of South Africa, and you can share some ideas with them in person throughout the day and at the networking drinks after lunch.
Former Olympian and Paralympian, Natalie du Toit, will give a short motivational talk, and YouTuber Matt Brown from The Matt Brown Show has a speaking slot to talk about the crypto world and social media.
QuadroIT and SportsPodium will sponsor lunch at the Indaba Hotel, and there will be sponsored network drinks to wrap up the day. Come early, QuadroIT opens registration at 7am at the Indaba Hotel in Fourways, Johannesburg.
Registration is free, attendance is free... all you need to bring is yourself. QuadroIT will even supply the stationery. Click here to book your seat.
