Jordan upgrades EA
The Jordan Ahli Bank has started a large-scale IT transformation strategy by partnering with Palma, a regional business and IT consulting firm, to boost its IT infrastructure, writes AME Info.
The bank is using the Aris Platform, which offers Web-based utilities to document, analyse, implement and optimise an organisation's enterprise architecture (EA), offering a repository for documentation.
The bank says the new EA will help the bank to serve its clients more efficiently, and create an adaptable, modernised foundation for future developments.
Auxis, PPC partner
Auxis, a management consulting firm, has partnered with a global management and consulting firm Project Performance Corporation (PPC), reports Business Wire.
The partnership allows Auxis and PPC to develop and implement EA solutions on contracts with the US Environmental Agency (EPA) and the Trademark Office (PTO).
“Auxis is pleased to be working with PPC in supporting the EPA and PTO projects,” says Nancy Wolff, director of government services for Auxis. “The Federal EA space is unique, and the Auxis team brings in-the-trenches experience to the table.”
UK college deploys WLAN infrastructure
Moulton College, a training institute in the UK, is implementing a campus-wide wireless network, states PRWeb.
The wireless LAN (WLAN) system, from Extricom, has been implemented by T James Telecoms, which specialises in wireless services. The WLAN supports mobile learning of students and staff.
The Mobile Learning Network provided the funding through an award it presented to the college.
