Axiz has announced the arrival of DDR-SDRAM in the Kalliba range of memory products. Manufactured locally, the Kalliba DDR-SDRAM range offers premium quality and superior performance.
According to Bruce Murphy, memory product manager at Axiz, these modules will be available in 128MB, 256MB, 512MB and 1Gb options.

DDR SDRAM (double data rate SDRAM) is synchronous dynamic RAM (SDRAM) that can improve memory bandwidth via a clock speed of 266 MHz. It transfers data on both the rising and falling edge of the system clock rather than on just the rising edge, thus doubling throughput. One of the benefits of this is more available bandwidth through the memory BUS enhancing many processing aspects and at a comparable cost to that of SDRAM.
