Kaseya honoured in EMA Client Lifecycle Management Radar Report as Strong Value

Lausanne, Switzerland, 22 Nov 2011

Kaseya, the leading global provider of automated IT systems management software, today announced its Automation Framework has been honoured by Enterprise Management Associates Client Lifecycle Management: Q4'2011 Radar Report.

The company was identified as Strong Value for both enterprises and the SME market. Kaseya was awarded Strong Value for maintaining a low-cost solution while delivering broad functional support with a feature set that proved to be comprehensive.

“Kaseya IT Automation Framework provides a low-cost version of the solution suite that still delivers broad CLM functionality,” said Steve Brazen, managing research director of EMA. “Of particular note is the product set's strength in delivering monitoring, reporting, and auditing capabilities that simplify problem identification, remediation, and compliance achievement. Kaseya also supports large community-driven services that enable the sharing of administrator tips and best practices.”

“We are pleased to be recognised by EMA for the strong value we offer to both enterprise and small business customers. Kaseya gives everybody the ability to strategically align IT with the business goals of their corporation,” said Bob Davis, Chief Marketing Officer, Kaseya. “This designation acknowledges the vision, growth, and commitment that Kaseya has had to both the MSP and enterprise customers in the past year.”

The EMA Radar Report standardises the evaluation of product sets in specific management disciplines by comparing vendor and product review elements in the five distinct categories of: architecture and integration, functionality, deployment and administration. In addition, the products were evaluated in the core CLM management disciplines of: asset management, system deployment, application and licence management, patch management and configuration management. A further segmentation ranked products separately for two distinct size categories: small and medium businesses (SMEs) - identified as those with less than 10 000 supported endpoints - and enterprise class businesses with greater than 10 000 supported endpoints.

Kaseya strengths are:

* Scalability - Multiple product set editions (standard, advanced, SaaS, on-premises) plus the ability to extend capabilities with the use of add-on packs allow organisations to select an appropriately sized and priced solution to meet their business requirements.
* Tightly integrated service desk - Provides customisable workflows based on ITIL v3 standards.
* Extensibility - Add-on packages for anti-virus, anti-malware, and back-ups provide integrated functionality not commonly available with other CLM suites.
