Kaspersky Lab has updated its line of corporate products with Kaspersky Open Space Security Release 2.
The update includes Kaspersky Administration Kit 8.0 and three applications designed to protect workstations and servers running under Microsoft Windows.
“Protecting a modern corporate network requires robust solutions that secure each node on the network, including servers and workstations, and offers convenient centralised management tools,” says Garry Kondakov, MD of Kaspersky Lab EEMEA region.
According to Kondakov, Kaspersky Administration Kit 8.0 allows centralised management of the anti-virus protection system, and includes more than 40 functions that are either new or updated.
Three corporate solutions exist for securing network nodes: Kaspersky Anti-Virus 6.0, for Windows Workstations; Kaspersky Anti-Virus 6.0, for Windows Servers; and Kaspersky Anti-Virus 6.0 Second Opinion Solution.
These products incorporate a new scan engine and heuristic analyser that proactively defend machines. The new applications are fully compatible with Microsoft Windows 7 and Windows Servers 2008 R2, according to Kondakov.
